New Catering and Bar Staff
We have managed to secure the help of Theresa, who was the catering and bar manager at Old Cranleighans. We have carried out soundings with various members of Old Cranleighans and Theresa has an excellent reputation with the members. We are very fortunate to have the option to use Theresa.
With her experience and expertise, this will help compliment the excellent work Richie does for the club as Bar Manager. Theresa will help with the after match catering, we would like to start to provide the players and social members, to try to keep the clubhouse busier for a longer period aft
er matches. This would help to drive bar revenue up and also create a better atmosphere in the clubhouse.
Also, Theresa will be supplying catering for other social functions and sponsors matches during the season. Together with trying to build catering on Sunday mornings with the colts parents by offering tea, coffee and bacon/sausage baps.
As you know, we are trying to have additional fundraising functions this summer, to help boost the general finances of the club and also help pay for the two overseas signings. We also realise, that we cannot expect Richie to be available all the time. He works very hard for the club and we are concerned with the additional social functions and workload, he will understandably get fed up without additional help behind the bar.
Regarding the teas, Theresa will be available to provide the teas. I would like Theresa to take over making the teas for the seconds, thirds and the Sunday teams, as this will help with the continuity of what the club is providing to our players and opposition.
